Full Tempered Glass

Fully tempered glass (toughened glass) is manufactured by heating annealed glass to a temperature of approximately 650°C (1200°F) and then rapidly cooling it with air. This process puts the outer surface of the glass under compression, significantly increasing its strength. It is five times stronger than ordinary glass and has strong resistance to physical and thermal shock. When tempered glass breaks, it shatters into small, blunt pieces, preventing potential injury.
