Bent Tempered Glass
Bent Tempered Glass
Bent tempered glass is also known as curved tempered glass. Its manufacturing process is the same as that of ordinary flat tempered glass, except that the glass sheet is bent into the desired shape when its temperature is close to the softening point, and then rapidly cooled. This process of bending the glass gives it new functional and aesthetic characteristics.

Product Features
Bent tempered glass or toughened glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering puts the outer surfaces into compression and the inner surfaces into tension. Such stresses cause the glass, when broken, to crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards as plate glass (annealed glass) does. The granular chunks are less likely to cause injury.
1. High aesthetic function in the buildings
2. Flexible options for different building applications
3. Provide a safer solution for tempered glass
4. Reduce the risk of site-breakage and glass fall-out
5. Less optical distortion than tempered glass
6. To be rarely prone to spontaneous breakage due to machining or other edge treatments.

Product Application
Bent tempered glass is widely used in architectural, commercial, and interior design projects where both performance and aesthetics are essential.
1. Building Facades and Curtain Walls
Bent tempered glass is commonly used in modern building facades and curtain wall systems to create smooth, flowing architectural forms. Its enhanced strength and wind-load resistance make it suitable for high-rise buildings and large exterior glazing areas.
2. Glass Balustrades and Railings
Curved tempered glass is ideal for balconies, staircases, and ramp railings. It provides safety, impact resistance, and a seamless appearance, especially in projects with circular or spiral designs.
3. Doors and Windows
Bent tempered glass is used for curved doors, bay windows, and panoramic window systems. It allows for wider views, improved daylighting, and distinctive architectural character while maintaining safety standards.
4. Interior Partitions and Enclosures
In commercial spaces such as offices, hotels, shopping malls, and airports, bent tempered glass is applied in partitions, shower enclosures, and display walls to create open, modern interiors with smooth visual continuity.
5. Commercial Displays and Showcases
Retail display cases, exhibition showcases, and museum vitrines often use bent tempered glass to achieve high transparency, refined aesthetics, and enhanced protection for displayed products.
6. Furniture and Decorative Applications
Bent tempered glass is widely used in glass tables, shelves, countertops, and decorative elements, offering both structural strength and unique curved designs for interior furnishings.
