Laurel Clear Float glass is a type of flat glass produced through a process where molten glass is floated on a bath of molten metal (typically tin) to produce a uniform and consistent thickness, flatness, and surface quality. Production Process
We use top-quality raw materials from both domestic and abroad, like quartz sand, soda ash, salt cake, and dolomite. After precise weighing, checking, and mixing, these materials are fed into a furnace fueled by heavy oil. At scorching temperatures between 1600 and 1700 degrees Celsius, the raw materials melt into molten glass. This refined glass liquid then cools and flows into a tin bath, where it floats on the surface of the molten tin. Finally, the shaped clear float glass goes through an annealing process in a lehr to become the high-quality glass that meets our customers' exact requirements.

5. The uniformity of thickness is superior, and the minimum thickness deviation can be controlled within 0.1mm.
