Wired Pattern Glass

Wired Pattern Glass is manufactured using a process similar to that of patterned glass, but during manufacturing, a layer of 13 mm square welded steel wire mesh is embedded in the center of the glass. The wire mesh provides reinforcement, making wired glass commonly used in large-sized fire-rated windows and doors.

Wired Pattern Glass is a Class B safety glass. If the glass is impacted and breaks, the glass fragments will be held in place by the wire mesh. This product series comes in four styles (diamond or square wire mesh patterns, clear and frosted (patterned) glass), with a thickness of 1/4 inch (6 mm), and is available in various standard sizes, making it ideal for decorative or architectural applications. Wired glass can be used as a fire-rated product in certain specific applications. However, it is important to note that wired glass should not be used in applications requiring safety glass.
