COPPER-FREE SILVER MIRROR
Copper-free mirrors, also known as lead-free and environmentally friendly mirrors, are essentially silver mirrors.
The production process for copper-free mirrors closely resembles that of silver mirrors, with the main difference being the removal of copper plating and the use of lead-free ordinary paint or epoxy resin paint.
The latest generation of copper-free mirrors offers enhanced protection, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance for the reflective silver layer.

Copper-free mirrors are produced using the latest generation mirror production technology. It uses state-of-the-art paint that provides excellent protection with a reflective silver layer, providing maximum resistance to corrosion and oxidation without the copper and lead used in traditional processes.
Float glass of the highest quality is thoroughly cleaned by scrubbing with a detergent and brush apparatus, and the cleaned glass surface is then sensitized with a dilute solution of tin chloride, which may be used to deposit silver. Silver nitrate is sprayed onto the sensitized surface of the glass along with other chemical configurations to create a final uniform silver layer on the glass.
New technology Bacl2 is deposited directly on the silver to form a copper-free protective film that prevents silver from oxidizing and is covered with a matching protective back coating to protect the metal layer from corrosion and scratches.
Production Process
Copper-free mirrors are manufactured in a process that is very similar to silver mirrors but with some differences.
Washing float glass→ Drying→ Sensitizing→ Spraying Silver Nitrate
→ Washing→ Drying→ Lacquering Undercoat (for the strongest protection of the silver layer)
→Drying→ Re-lacquering Topcoat (ordinary lacquer or epoxy lacquer)→ Drying
