Smart Glass

Smart Glass, also known as switchable glass or PDLC glass, is an advanced glazing solution that allows instant control of transparency with the touch of a switch. By integrating a Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) film between layers of glass, smart glass can switch from opaque to transparent on demand, providing flexible privacy without compromising natural light.

When powered on, an electrical current aligns the liquid crystal molecules, making the glass clear. When powered off, the crystals scatter light, turning the glass opaque. This innovative technology eliminates the need for traditional blinds or curtains while delivering a clean, modern aesthetic for architectural and interior applications.

Smart glass is available in single glazed toughened panels, laminated glass, insulated double or triple glazing units, and can be customized with special glass types such as low iron or lead glass to meet the demands of commercial, residential, medical, and high-traffic environments.
